JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Almers School, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher qualified to teach textile crafts for grades 4-9, who is eager to create motivating and inspiring lessons. We value a relational teacher who builds strong and positive relationships with students and colleagues.

Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest drive. Together with your colleagues, you will shape a relational leadership where the quality of teaching is the focus. We create the best possible meeting for learning.

As a teacher with us in Varberg Municipality, you play a central role in creating a safe, developing, and motivating environment for students. By planning, executing, and following up on your varied teaching, you provide students with the opportunity to develop both academically and socially.

Together with your colleagues, you will plan and follow up on teaching based on your choices of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, tailored to the needs and conditions of the students, and grounded in science and proven experience. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage students' learning, participation, and influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

• Teaching certification with qualifications to teach textile crafts for grades 4-9.
• Experience working with students in middle school.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
